The program converges the professional fields of communication, information technology and communication technology, and utilizes integrated communication teaching models to cultivate communication professionals who are capable in Information Technology and Digital Multimedia applications.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\n<strong>MASS COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT<\/strong><br \/>\n1986 \u2014 Ming Chuan [Junior Women's Commercial] College<\/p>\n<p><strong>MASS COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT<\/strong><br \/>\n1990\u2014Ming Chuan College<\/p>\n<p><strong>MASS COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT<\/strong><br \/>\n1999 \u2013 Established School of Communication and Digital Multimedia Platform<\/p>\n<p><strong>INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT<\/strong><br \/>\n2004 \u2013 Renamed to align with the trend of information and communication technology<\/p>\n<p><strong>COMMUNICATIONS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT<\/strong><br \/>\n2010 -Combined with Graduate School Of Communication Management<\/p>\n<p><strong>DEPARTMENT OF NEW MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION ADMINISTRATION<\/strong><br \/>\n2015 \u2013 Renamed as Department of New Media and Communication Administration<\/p>\n<p><br \/>\nEven though the goals for our Master\u2019s Program and Work-experience Master's Program are the same, the Work-experience Master's Program places more emphasis on cultivating students with new media capacity as well as middle or higher level managerial abilities.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"e4069-6 x-acc-item\"><button id=\"tab-e4069-6\" class=\"x-acc-header\" role=\"tab\" type=\"button\" aria-selected=\"false\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"panel-e4069-6\" data-x-toggle=\"collapse\" data-x-toggleable=\"e4069-6\"><span class=\"x-acc-header-content\"><span class=\"x-acc-header-indicator\">&#x25b8;<\/span><span class=\"x-acc-header-text\"><strong>INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/button><div id=\"panel-e4069-6\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-hidden=\"true\" aria-labelledby=\"tab-e4069-6\" data-x-toggleable=\"e4069-6\" data-x-toggle-collapse=\"1\" class=\"x-collapsed\"><div class=\"x-acc-content\">This is the first master\u2019s program which combines the professional fields of communication, management and new media. The master\u2019s program is situated to comply with the fast changes in the new media industries; our mission is to cultivate talents in new media management based on our educational philosophy combining theory with practice. Many of our graduate program alumni work in the fields of media, advertisement, public relations and information technology. Recently, our alumni have expanded into the fields of administration, education, police and national security. We not only cultivate excellent talents, many of them have also been promoted into management levels.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"e4069-7 x-acc-item\"><button id=\"tab-e4069-7\" class=\"x-acc-header\" role=\"tab\" type=\"button\" aria-selected=\"false\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"panel-e4069-7\" data-x-toggle=\"collapse\" data-x-toggleable=\"e4069-7\"><span class=\"x-acc-header-content\"><span class=\"x-acc-header-indicator\">&#x25b8;<\/span><span class=\"x-acc-header-text\"><strong>CURRICULUM FOR PROFESSIONAL ABILITIES<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/button><div id=\"panel-e4069-7\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-hidden=\"true\" aria-labelledby=\"tab-e4069-7\" data-x-toggleable=\"e4069-7\" data-x-toggle-collapse=\"1\" class=\"x-collapsed\"><div class=\"x-acc-content\"><span>The curriculum of the master\u2019s program cultivates students with research capability in Communications Management, capability for Multimedia Management, competence in Cross-border Integration, international perspective, and foreign language skills.
